Carmen Sorrentino Obituary

Lifelong Staten Islander, Carmen Sorrentino, 95, passed away peacefully on March 26th at St. Joseph's Senior Home-Assisted Living and Nursing Center in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Her husband of 60 years, Anthony V. Sorrentino passed away in 2012. After graduating New Dorp High School, she worked as a secretary in lower Manhattan for several years, She enjoyed bowling, square dancing, traveling and spending time with her family.She was an active member of St. Mary's Church and her local community in Rosebank. She is survived by her four children, Carmen Sorrentino-Higgins, Douglas Sorrentino, Thomas Sorrentino, and Clinton Sorrentino. She also has two grandchildren, Elizabeth Higgins and Kristie Ibrahim, and three great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed, but she will always be in our hearts.
