Denise Daily

Denise Daily, 50, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 25, 2018 in Covington, Georgia. Denise, affectionately known as Niecy, was born in 1967 to parents Fredaswinda and Willie Garcia in Brooklyn, New York. At an early age, she met and fell in love with Shon Daily and in October 1987, Denise and Shon were united in Holy Matrimony. Together, Denise and Shon had two children, Shon and Shantiece and later adopted one daughter, Takeema. 

Denise, a devoted mother, sister, friend and confidant, was known for providing excellent advice and counsel to all who sought a listening ear. Referred to as a therapist to most, Denise decided to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Social Work to put her nurturing and care giving skills to further use, graduating with a degree in both disciplines in 2005.  Known for her positive nature, her life was as beautiful as the dolls and collectibles she loved so well; boasting an extensive collection of the most highly coveted dolls. Denise was regarded as beautiful person inside and out and as a result of her generous spirit and jovial personality; she was loved by so many. 

Denise is survived by her children Shon (Silvana), Takeema (Marshall), and Shantiece (Kareem); her siblings Leonard (Sherrie), Yvonne, Annette (Giovanni), Tracie (Charles), William, Willie, Derrick and Alfreda (Cedric), as well as her grandchildren Alicia, Khloe, Karin, Amare, Anthony, Zuri, Keyunna, and Onyx. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Burial will be held on Saturday November 10, 2018 at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden, NJ
