Edwin S. Vega

Edwin Vega, 43, beloved father of Celeste Vega, passed away on February 13, 2019 at Staten Island University Hospital. Besides his daughter, Edwin is survived by his parents Ruth and Guillermo Vega as well as his siblings Willie Vega, Frank Vega, Bruno Vega and Deanna King. He will be dearly missed by his sister-in-law's Tara Vega, Karina Vega, Olietis Vega and his brother-in-law and closest friend Wayne King. His goddaughters Alyson Vega and Alicia King, along with his 10 nieces and nephews will always keep him close to their hearts. Edwin's biggest and most proudest accomplishment was being a father to Celeste. He will always be remembered as a fun, caring and loving man that would go the extra mile for the people that he loved. He had a deep love of music and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was an animal lover with an affinity for Pitbulls. His latest dog Mush, was truly another member of his family. There will be a viewing on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 4pm to 9pm at Martin Hughes Funeral Home, 530 Narrows Road South, Staten Island, NY 10304.
