Enriqueta "Jackie" Cu Leong M.D.

Enriqueta Leong, known to friends as "Jackie", passed away on June 15, 2019, at the age of 76.

Born in Laoag, Philippines, Jackie arrived in New York in the 1970's. Kind and compassionate, wanting to help people, Jackie found her path in life through practicing medicine tirelessly for more than 50 years at Lutheran Medical Center, St. Luke's Hospital, Woodhull Medical Center, Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center, and Richmond Center (formerly St. Elizabeth Ann) where she eventually passed away. She also proudly served as Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army Reserves.

However the job she cherished most was that of being the mother to her three sons, Philippe, Thomas, and Rick to whom she selflessly gave everything and continued to give to her seven grandchildren to whom she will forever cherish. 

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Thomas. She is survived by her three sons, and seven grandchildren. She will be forever remembered and missed by everyone who knew her.
