Maria Alicia Otalora

Maria Alicia Otalora passed away peacefully on August 20th at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in, Tocaima, Colombia in 1929. She was the matriarch of her family, and was an impeccable homemaker and a strong, proud and beautiful woman. She is survived by her six loving children, Gladys, Marlene, Carlos, Daniel, Aleyda and Blanca; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

There will be a visitation of friends and family at the Martin Hughes Funeral Home, 530 Narrows Road S, Staten Island, NY on Saturday, August 24th from 2-4 & 7-9pm and on Sunday August 25th, from 2-4 & 6-8pm. On Saturday,  there will be a short prayer service in the chapel at 7:30pm. On Monday, August 26th everyone will gather at the Martin Hughes Funeral Home at 9am, followed by a procession to St. Joseph's RC Church, 463 Tompkins Avenue, Staten Island, NY for a mass of Christian Burial. Please join the family for a celebration of the beautiful life of Maria Alicia Otalora.
