Terry Smith passed away peacefully on October 13, 2018. Although Terry spent the last few years living in New Jersey, he was a New Yorker through and through. Born In New York City, Terry was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and Nathan's Famous hot dogs. Terry was a proud Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He attended Baruch College after serving his country, then went to work for the Saxon Paper Company, retiring as Vice President. He lived life to the fullest. He loved to travel and went many places such as Bermuda; The Bahamas; Miami and Key West, Florida; Las Vegas, Nevada; Los Angeles, California; The Dominican Republic; Playa Del Carmen, Mexico; Germany and Italy. He also loved to dance, especially to Doo Wop music, Frank Sinatra and his favorite songs, The Rolling Stones Satisfaction and I Only Have Eyes for You which he dedicated to his girlfriend of eight years, Angela. He was the life of the party, entertaining his friends and family with his many jokes. A true gentleman, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Terry Smith is survived by his two sons Matthew and Justin; and his girlfriend Angela Moss. A memorial service to celebrate Terry's life will take place on Saturday October 20, 2018 from 11am to 3pm at the Martin Hughes Funeral Home, 530 Narrows Road South, Staten Island, N.Y.
