Adel L. Metry

Adel Metry, age 78 passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 8, 2025. He was born in 1946 in Egypt. He immigrated to America in 1971 to attend graduate school at NYU. In 1977 while teaching at NYU he met his wife Samia. In his professional career he worked in banking and management consulting. He enjoyed traveling overseas, spending time with his family and his time at church on Sundays. He is survived by his wife Samia, son Amir, daughter-in-law Liz and grandchildren, Lila and Luke.In Lieu of flowers, the Metry family asks if you would kindly give a donation to The American Parkinson Disease Association in Adel's honor.
