God has taken home a angel. Albert Axel Storm to his final resting place.  Albert was born August 4, 1935 in Red Hook Brooklyn. He resided most of his life ln Brooklyn and later years Staten Island with his wife Eileen Driscoll Storm whom he always called her his little chicky bird. She predeceased him in December 2008. His love for her never waned she was the love of his life. He was predeceased by his mother Oline born In Norway and his father Axel born in Sweden. His loving sister Helen and his brother August and sister in law Mary.

Al was a part of our lives for every birthday or gathering’s at our Great grandmother’s home.  H was always a part of our entire family.

Everybody loved Al, he was kind, and loving and took special joy in taking my brother Billy and me and his loving Goddaughter Cafhy Driscoll, who cared for during his illness. He also had a Goddaughter Nancy.

Al was our father’s best friend from their early teens. And even before he was our Uncle he would do things with us every weekend.  Dinner’s at the locat italian restaurant every Sunday. So many memories of going to the Met’s games. One of the most memorable memories is Saturday nights when Chiller theatre at 12 and he would make us promise to wake him up to see them.  He loved spooky movies and would always bring peanuts to share. These are the memories we have of our Uncle Al. So many more, he was funny, giving, honest and will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his loving goddaughter and niece Catherine Driscoll, His niece Cindy Cooper. Also, nephew William Driscoll. Loving nieces Karen and Susan. Also, his great niece Christy Driscoll and Catherine, Bailey, Rosie and Thomas.

He is also survived by his two best friends Vinny and Mike. And a dear friend Joanne Tormey who would come and visit him and talk about Norway and Sweden. He loved her visits and looked forward to them. We all join in grief but we have so many wonderful memories of our Uncle Al. God bless you Al for all the times you took us places and your continued love for us until the day he passed. Now you will be reunited with your Mom, Dad, August and Helen and most of all your one and only Chicky bird.
