Barbara Green

Barbara, affectionately known as Ma/Grandma/Sis/Ms. Green was born in Leesburg, GA
to the late Bob Rollins, and Lizzie Mack, Barbara is one of 12 children. Barbara married the late
James Green in 1958, had their eldest child Bennie in 1959, followed by Mary in 1961, and then
they moved from Georgia to Brooklyn, NY where they went on to have Vennie in 1962, and Felicia
in 1964. In 1968, they moved to Staten Island, NY where they had Charmaine in 1971. Barbara
went on to become a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and retired after 30 years of service at Vanderbilt
Nursing Home. Barbara was a devoted
Baptist, and was immensely devoted to family, friends, and would always lend a hand to those in
need. To know her was to love and be loved by her.
