Frances Galal

Francesca “Frances” Galal, born in Palermo, Sicily, in 1953, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted mother, she is survived by her children, Sofia Pellegrino, Antoinette Ortiz, and James Galal. Frances was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren—Briana Ortiz, Alyssa Morales, Andrew Pellegrino, Joseph Pellegrino, and Vincent Pellegrino—and a cherished great-grandmother.

Frances devoted her life to working in health care, and her compassion touched many lives beyond her profession. She loved spending time with her family, enjoying good food, and taking trips to Atlantic City with friends and loved ones. She will be remembered for her generous heart, warm spirit, and the love that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
