Frances S. Smith

Frances S. Smith (nee Carisi), passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 28th. She was born in Staten Island in 1929, and lived here all of her life. She was a secretary for the Board of Education for many years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband the late James H. Smith. She is survived by her devoted children; daughter Judy Van Pelt, son Jimmy Smith (Fran) and daughter Eileen Schott (Vincent); cherished grandchildren Gary and Greg Van Pelt, Jimmy, Timmy and Danny Smith, Lauren and Kaitlyn Schott. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
