Francis (Frank) M. Conti, 73, passed away quietly at his upstate home on Friday November 20.
Frank was born in Mariners Harbor in 1947 and moved to Rosebank in 1952. Loved and admired by many he was known for his dry sense of humor. Frank worked for over 20 years retiring as a manager of Abco Refrigeration Supply Corp. He always enjoyed time at his home upstate, especially when he had the opportuity tobe there with his grandson Eddie. He was the apple of his eye. They enjoyed fishing, target shootingand quad racing.
Frank was a proud veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam. He served in country (Vietnam) between 1966 and 1967 becoming disabled serving his country. As a true neighborhood man he was a member of the Labetti VFW Post and a proud member of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society in Rosebank. He joined the Society in his teen years and most enjoyed working the feast each summer.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Herminia "Sissy" (nee Plachcinski), his devoted daughters Veronica Kelleher (James) and Katherine Conti, and of course his pride and joy his grandson Edward Francis Kelleher anh honorary great-grandfather to Edward Kelleher III
Committal services were held privately. A Memorial Mass will be scheduled in the future with information posted on this site.
