In loving memory of George E. Doyle, 80 of Fort Wadsworth.  George passed away peacefully on February 11, 2024 at Staten Island Hospital after a short illness.  

He was born in Manhattan in 1944, and was a Staten Island resident for 56 years.  

George was a devoted husband and a beloved Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather.  He is predeceased by his son Paul and his mother Irene.  

George is survived by his wife Patricia; his children George, Brian, Lisa, Sean and Kelly; his Grand Children Jonathan, Gary, Caitlyn, Adam, Marc, Zully Michelle, and Danna; his Great Grand Children Cash and Ryder; his brothers Jimmy, Michael and Thomas; and his sisters Irene, Maryanne and Jacqueline.  

George was a small business owner and worked as a security professional at the IBM Headquarters in Manhattan and at Project Hospitality on Staten Island.  

George loved living on the North Shore of Staten Island and was very active in his community.  He was a former President of the Clifton Homeowners Association and served as a member of Community Board # 1 for 42 years. George was also an active member and supporter of the 120th Precinct Community Council, the Stapleton Athletic Club, the Hungerford School and District 75 Special Education Programs. George was an avid fan of the New York Mets and the New York Rangers.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
