Gregory LaGana Obituary

Gregory Lagana has died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on March 12, 2021. He leaves behind his devoted wife Annie (née Yasso) of 66 years. Beloved father of Elvira and Philip, cherished grandfather of Philip and Jonathan. Loving brother of the late John. Gregory served his country in the United States Army and fought on the front line of the Korean War.  He received the Bronze Star. After coming home from the war he became a Longshoremen and then retired as a Delegate for Local 1814. He enjoyed playing golf with his friends and was the only one to get a Hole in One. Another past time he loved was going to Atlantic City with his wife and family. But most of all he enjoyed his grandchildren, they were the apple of his eye. Greg was none as a big joker and the life of the party.

In following the guidlines requested by the CDC and the NYS Department of Health all visitors are required to wear face masks covering nose and mouth while in the building. We request that all be mindful of social distancing  protocols while visiting. To be respectful of the immediate family, we respectfully as that visits be kept brief to allow others the same opportunity while adhereing to the regulations. Thank you.
