Jennie Zammetti
Jennie Zammetti ( formerly Plantemoli, Nee, LaSalandra) of Staten Island NY, was born on July 26, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY. Jennie passed away peacefully on March 11, 2021 from natural causes at Staten Island University Hospital. Jennie attended Brooklyn College and was the Head Library Clerk at the Brooklyn Public Library, Ryder branch for 15 years. Jennie is predeceased by her husbands, Joseph S. Plantemoli and John Zammetti; and by her siblings Peter LaSalandra, Frank LaSalandra and Leonard LaSalandra, Jr. She is survived by her sister Catherine Galasso and her husband, Philip of Greenlawn, Long Island, NY. Surviving are her five children and their spouses, son Frank Plantemoli and his wife Lucille of Chatham, NJ; daughter Maria Plantemoli of Staten Island, NY; daughter Anne Marie Gallo and her husband Gerard of Hazlet, NJ, daughter Jacqueline Felix of Oldbridge, NJ and her son Leonard John Plantemoli and his wife Lisa Ann of Stamford, CT. She is survived by ten loving grandchildren and their spouses, Joseph Gallo and wife Paula; Anthony Gallo and wife Brittany; Michael Gallo and wife Nicole; Victoria Felix, Robert Felix and Gabrielle Felix; Joseph Plantemoli and John Plantemoli; Charles Joseph Plantemoli and Olivia Plantemoli. Jennie was a long-time communicant at St. Ann’s Church in Staten Island, NY. She was also a loyal member of St. Ann’s Prayer Shawl Ministry.
