Jennifer D'Ambrosio Obituary

Born in Queens and raised on Staten Island. Jennifer D’Ambrosio passed away at Hackensack University Medical Center on December 26th, 2020.

Jennifer was a loving mother to Alyssa Rose and wife of Michael D’Ambrosio.

Jennifer graduated from St. Joseph-by-the Sea in 1996 and went on to receive her Associates Degree from The College of Staten Island. She then went on to work in Med-Surg at Staten Island University Hospital North and proceeded to work in various departments at both Hackensack University Medical Center and Staten Island University Hospital North before finding her calling in the Labor and Delivery Department. She touched so many new moms and dads working in that department, some who became friends after.

Jennifer was an active leader of The March of Dimes Foundation, after having Alyssa five and a half weeks early. Jennifer participated every year in the walk and raised funds for Making Strides Against Cancer.
She was a pillar of her community and was loved by many. She took joy in helping others, Jennifer was a radiant person whose light touched everyone but at the end of the day her biggest enjoyment and pride and joy was her daughter, Alyssa.
Survived by her husband, Michael D’Ambrosio, daughter Alyssa Rose, Mother Diane Winckelman (Nee Taylor). Sister Denise Reiter and brother in law Dr. Michael Reiter. Mother in law Genevieve D’Ambrosio, brother in law and sister in law, Nicholas and Elizabeth Argenziano, sister in law Dawn Argenziano and niece and nephews, Samantha Jolly, Guilianna Argenziano, Nicholas Argenziano, Sophia Reiter, Mia Argenziano and Michael Reiter.
