Jody Grimaldi

Jody Grimaldi, age 45, passed away suddenly at home on December 19, 2023. Jody was born in Staten Island in the spring of 1978. She attended Holy Rosary Catholic School where she participated in Softball and Basketball. She graduated from St. Peter's High School and took courses in Staten Island Community College. She went on to work for the New York City Housing Authority as a secretary.

Jody was a loving and generous individual to both family and friends.It was her nature to always put others before herself. She was always ready to help those in need, even strangers. Her pets were a very important part of her life. They brought her so much comfort and joy, especially her new puppy, Darla. Jody lived with her Mom and not a night went by that she didn't say "Goodnight...I love you!", as she went off to bed. Jody will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will remain in our hearts always and forever,

Jody was pre-deceased by her Dad, Richard Grimaldi, who passed away in 2005. She never got over the loss of her Dad, he was her hero, the  love of her life. She absolutely adored her father. 

Jody is survived by her mother Ione (Madigan) Grimaldi; her brother Rick and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and nephews, all of whom loved her dearly.
