Joseph was born on East 3rd Street in the Kensington section of Brooklyn in 1965. He attended St. Rose of Lima elementary school and William E. Grady Vocational and Technical High School. After being awarded an Electrical diploma in 1983, Joseph began employment with the New York City Transit Authority, progressing from a cable worker to a maintenance supervisor with oversight of field crews and operational planning. His 35 years of loyal service to the New York City Transit Power Department culminated in his retirement in 2020, when he received official recognition from the Department for his contributions. Joseph was equally dedicated to his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his son, Joseph. As an avid Rangers and Mets fan, he and Joseph attended many games over the years and cherished their time together. Joseph also had much affection for his dogs, who always held a special place in his heart. Joseph will be greatly missed by many but never forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.
