Josephine Folla

Josephine Folla passed away quietly on October 16, 2018 at the Golden Gate Care Center. Born in the Fordham section of the Bronx she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Giovanna Folla. Josephine moved to Staten Island at age 7 settling in West Brighton. She began her career with the Blue and White Laundry Company. The company moved to Rosebank and became the New Method Laundry Comapny from which Josephine retired in 1990. Her enjoyments were doing word puzzles and her cats.

Josephine is survived by her loving brothers Jerry (Arlene) from Arizona and Hermando (Spanky) (Ada - Terry) of Rosaebank. She was the cherished aunt of Christopher Folla, Steven Folla, Scott Folla, Cathleen Williams and Jennifer Folla Muscutt. She was the dear great aunt of Kerriann Williams, Brandon Folla and Anthony Williams.
