Luis Matos Obituary

In Loving Memory of Luis A. Matos

“Luis A. Matos passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and devotion. A loving father, son, husband, brother, and grandfather, Luis cherished his family above all else and always wanted to be in their company.

He is survived by his two sons, Luis and Robert; his beloved grandson, Alex; and his siblings, Nydia, Peter, and Carmen.

Luis embraced life with remarkable determination and an unwavering spirit. He found joy in music, especially Salsa and Jazz, and loved playing the drums. A devoted Yankees fan, he was rarely one to sit still, always keeping busy and making the most of every day.

Those who knew Luis will remember his warm heart, his love for family, and his extraordinary resilience. He faced life’s challenges with courage and grace, inspiring everyone around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who were blessed to know and love him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.”
