Mary Ann Durden

Mary Ann Durden (nee Yackabovitz), was born in Taylor Pennsylvannia. She moved to Staten Island, New York where she met her husband of 51 years, William, while working as a secretary. They married on February 9, 1974 , and had three children. Her children were her world, but her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. After 8 grandsons, she finally had her first granddaughter (her little "munchkin") in November of 2023. 

Mary Ann loved to cook, garden and trips to the casino. Ahe loved reading, dancing, watching Harry Potter movies and collecting stuffed anilmals and Betty Boop memorabilia. She loved caring for others and took in many of her children's friends over the years and treated them all like they were her own. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving are her husband William James Durden III, son William, daughters Judy (Hector), Mary (Michael); grandchildren, Justin, Gavin, Alexander, William, Anthony, Michael and Sophie; and great-grandchildren, Justin and Leon.
