Patricia “Patty” Mulvey (nee Certo), devoted mother and wife, died Sunday May 10, 2020 at SI University Hospital. Patty, 44 was born and raised in Bay Terrace, where she continued to reside, living upstairs from her parents until her death.
Patty graduated from New Dorp High School in 1993. She went on to get a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the College of Staten Island. She worked as an Assistant VP for Brown Brothers Harriman financial services firm, Manhattan for the past 22 years.
Patty enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife to her husband, Vincent and a doting mother to her son Matthew. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephew. She was considered a “cool” aunt, taking them to the movies and parks when they were younger and spoiling them with gifts. Patty enjoyed watching the NY Rangers and NY Yankees, often attending their games. She had an out-going personality and was quick-witted. Her laugh was infectious and her heart was huge.
Patty is survived by her husband of 14 years, Vincent and her son Matthew, her parents, John and Marie Certo (nee Immitti), sisters, Cathy Sherlock and Cynthia Kiefer, brother in law, Michael Sherlock, nephew, Nicholas Kiefer and nieces Megan and Corinne Sherlock and Kaitlyn Kiefer.
Due to attendance limitations, a private burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island.
