Robin M. Peters

In Loving Memory of:

Robin Peters
1946 – 2025
 

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved
brother, Robin Peters, who went to be with the Lord on August 9th, at
the age of 78. Robin was the cherished older brother in a family of six
sisters and two brothers, a role he embraced with love, kindness, and
strength.
Born in Ahmedabad, the eldest son of Martin and Kamala Peters,
Robin developed a lifelong passion for sports, especially cricket and
badminton which he played with enthusiasm; he was a badminton
champion with his sister Mimi. He married Jyotsna, and together they
built a life filled with devotion, respect, and unwavering
companionship. Jyotsna stood faithfully by his side through every
season of life, shoulder to shoulder, with a love that was evident to all
who knew them.

Robin’s legacy lives on in the lives of his children Poonam and
Rennies and grandchildren James, Hannah, Michael, Joshua, and
Simon, whom he adored deeply. He will be dearly missed by his
siblings: Nalini Gohil, Rohini Christian, Sudha Khedia, Margaret
Christie, Vina Gohil, Nayana Das, and Reginald Peters. He will also
be missed by his son and daughter in-law, Felix, Angelina, and a wide
circle of relatives and friends who treasured his warmth, humor, and
steadfast character.

Robin’s life was one of quiet strength, loyalty, and generosity. His
ability to bring people together, his dedication to family, and his
unwavering faith in God were hallmarks of his journey.
