Rosemarie Agnes (Hanley) Cottrell

What can I say about my friend Rosie..She is more like a sister to me, we go back many years when our family’s were more than

friends..We were Family, we all grew up together! One thing I can say about Rosie, she is a very special person. Let’s put it this way, Rosie’s Sister-In-Law Jenny Hanley once said to me anybody who knows Rosie, loves Rosie” she is that kind of person, and it is the same for Rosie, if she loves you.. you have a friend for life!

Rosie had two wonderful Parents, Agnes Hanley & Eddie Hanley whom she was very close with and would do anything for the both of them. Rosie has Two Brothers, Eddie & John Hanley who she is very proud of both of her Brothers and loves them very much. Rosie also has two Sister-In-Laws, Marylou Hanley & Jenny Hanley who are more like Sisters to her. Rosie has manyNieces & Nephews.. Kim, Kathy, Kelli & Chris, Kerri & Bob, Kristi & Joe, Jeanmarie & Mike, John, Joanie & Joe,Joann & Eddie, Joseph & Gina, who she loves very much and are a BIG part of her Life. Rosie is very much loved by her family! But of course we all know the biggest part of Rosie’s heart belonged to her own family, which
she started with the Love of her Life, Butch Cottrell & had Three beautiful baby boys and they are the best part of her life!
 Now for the funny part..
There is Son #1, Michael..

He has too many middle names to mention, so just Michael for now. The story Mom would say to me about Michael. If you told Michael to watch out for the wall, do not walk into it.. Michael would walk right into the wall. But Michael your mom would be laughing with a BIG smile on her face & love in her heart for you! You know Michael you’re Son #1, always.
Now we come to Son #2, Eddie..

No Eddie, you’re not Son #2.. you’re also Son #1! Because Mom has a BIG heart for you too! Now Eddie, you have a very special person in your life which is your wife, Jen who is Rosie’sDaughter-In-Law. But to Rosie Jen is her Daughter, who makes her Son Eddie very happy & puts a smile on his face.

So that makes Jen, Daughter #1 - the best!

Now we come to Son #3, JJ.. But again, JJ is not Son #3.. he is Son #1! Because Rosie always said that she is very proud of all of her Sons & Loves them all the same.
JJ, YES! You are a BIG part of your Mom’s Life & sometimes she would say “you are a big “paiin the you know where”, while laughing with a BIG smile on her face. YES! Your mom would always tell me how wonderful you all are to her and that the Three of you are her Life.

Rosie also has Five more Special People in her Life.. Grandson Terrance, Granddaughter Felicity, Granddaughter Taylor, Grandson Maktar, & Grandson 9er (her little dog too).Grandma is very Proud & Loves all of her Grandchildren.

Now we’re saddened that Rosie is on her way to heaven.. But Butch is there waiting with open arms to love and care for her, he needs her now.
We all want to thank you Rosie, for being there throughout all of the Good Times, Sad Times, and all the times you were just there to listen to us.
Yes Rosie! You are a very good listener with no judgement attached.
We all love you and will miss you always, forever in our hearts!
