Sean Dolan Obituary

Sean Dolan, 71 of Staten Island, New York passed away on February 21, 2025. Sean Was born on February 11, 1954 to Gladys and William Dolan in Brooklyn, New York.  After graduating from Grady High School, Sean went on to get his Associates Degree to become a transit cop and later, a police detective for the NYPD. 

While in high school, Sean met Helena Marcondes. The high school sweethearts married and had two daughters, Melinda and Melissa. After 20years on the force, Sean retired from the 62nd precinct in Brooklyn, New York. He truly enjoyed being able to spend more time with his family.

Sean is survived by his wife Helena; his sister Laura Dolan and his two daughters Melinda and Melissa. Sean was a great husband, father and uncle, and a truly amazing man.  He was the type of man who would do anything and everything for anyone without question or hesitation. On February 21st the world lost a true gentleman with a heart of gold. Words cannot begin to describe how much he will be missed. His memory and legacy will never be forgotten, and will live on the hearts of all who loved him.
