Shazela "Susan" Falletta

Shazela “Susan” Falletta sadly passed away on December 8th 2022. She is survived by her husband Mike along with sons Michael (Brittany) and Sam (Madena). She is also survived by her brothers Ricky, Buff and sister Sherry as well as her parents, Walter and Jamo. She was such a special person with a zest for trying new things and exploring new places. Her favorite thing was to travel with her family, sit on the beach and relax. Shazela was a loving wife, an amazing mother, and a wonderful sister and daughter. She was one of the most generous people one could come in contact with. She was all about pleasing those around her who she cared for, always thinking about herself last.
Shazela and her family immigrated to America in 1980 and settled down in Englewood, New Jersey. She grew up in a loving home. Her siblings and her were always a tight crew. They have remained that way for many years. Before retiring, she worked at Staten Island University Hospital, befriending all of her coworkers who now know her as “family”.
She was an amazing cook who loved feeding everyone until they were stuffed. She loved being with her cats and playing with her son’s dog. She got such joy out of being around animals. Shazela was a kindhearted and gentle soul. She will be missed by all who made her acquaintance and forever loved by all who knew her.
