ToniAnn DeGennaro born of Irish and Italian descent was born and raised on the North Shore section of Staten Island, New York along with her five siblings. She attended Edward Markham Middle School, Port Richmond High School and then went on to further her studies at the College of Staten Island. She pursued a career in retail business soon after. She ran one of the most lucrative, high end, clothing stores in the Staten Island Mall for over 25 years. She was adored by her customers and coworkers and provided every person who was lucky enough to be graced by her presence with the most heartfelt, welcoming, personal experience. ToniAnn was very much into health and sports, earning a black belt in mixed martial arts which she trained extensively in for many years. She always had an upbeat, positive, attitude. She loved going on adventures with her son to the jersey shore, theme parks and numerous spontaneous vacations. He was the center of her world and their bond was so unique and special. They had a mother-son relationship that was unbreakable. If you knew ToniAnn you knew all about her son Jesse. She was one of the most loving, caring individuals, always offering a helping hand to anyone who might need it and was extremely nurturing and loving towards animals as well, having exotic birds, fish, and dogs her whole life. She later moved upstate New York to a beautiful country side town to later retire and be closer to her mother and sisters, who she loved dearly. ToniAnn had the warmest smile, gave the best hugs and will be missed tremendously. She truly touched everyone she met and the mark she left will be felt by her family and friends always.
