Virginio Frayco Reynoso is the fourth of twelve children for Ricardo A. Reynoso, Sr. and Beatriz F. Reynoso. He was born on November 13th,1939 in Tondo, Manila, Philippines and raised in Iba Zambales.
Virginio went to Iba Elementary School, Ramon Magsaysay High School of the Arts and Trade, and graduated with an Associates Degree at the University of the East in Manila. While in the Philippines, Virginio worked in the Bureau of Customs in Manila and was an active member of the Laraway Dance Troupe.
In 1989, Virginio migrated to the United States, settling in Staten Island, NY with his sister, Rosario, and niece, Irene. He served as a father figure to Irene. While in NY, he worked in Shoprite, Waldbaums, and Western Beef as a cashier until he retired. He was also involved in shipping and freight forward services to the Philippines.
Virginio was an active member of The Philippine-American Civic and Cultural Community of Staten Island (PACCCSI), and became a dance instructor for the Filipino Debutantes. In his later years, Virginio was also an active member and singer of the New Lane and S.I. Adult Day Care Centers. He loved to sing, dance, was an excellent cook and liked the New York Yankees baseball team. He was a loving, kind, and generous person who helped his family. He lived a very good life before he passed away on December 18th, 2023. Virginio is survived by his seven sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.
